If there is not a security monitor on the bridge (and I think there is
one), then who is the Bridge Security Monitor Chief???? In "City", McCoy uses
the transporter. The bridge discovers this after kyle comes to. In "Last
Battlefield", the bridge (Uhura @ Comm) knows when the transporters are being
used by blinking lights on her board. In "Mirror, Mirror", Uhura has to
distract Sulu-2 (@ helm) from seeing the energy transfer on his board. In
"Doomsday", Sulu (@ helm) knows when the shuttle is launched by flashing lights
on his board.

Now obviously, this is a classical example that the writers and directors
did not exactly understand either military procedure, Roddenberry's universe,
common sense or any two or all of the above. The question is "can there be any
sense made out of this?" Are there any other instances that I've missed?
Who cares?? If this isn't solved, will a Romulan Sheite(sp?) Moslem fly a
shuttlebomb up the landing bay?
