There was this question about how the turbolift worked some time ago. I
would imagine that there are several ways the turbo elevator can be engaged.
Which method used depended on apon the idividual.
options:
voice
telepathic
automatic
default
push button
flip switch
turn knob
grip handle
manual
cuss
etc.
However, if any turbolift is equiped with any number of devices listed
above, who knows? Some could have all while others could have some selected
colection, depending on the ship, crew and model of the elevator.
All I know is if Scotty keeps on saying "up yer shaft" to many more times,
he may find himself going up through the roof.
