Since I'm very new to this network (weeks are still to large a unit of measurement), please don't think that I'm a Denebian Slime Devil or send me off to the nearest mind-sifter if this has already appeared. Did anyone notice the brief (<= 10 sec.) appearance of Angelique Pettyjohn (Shana (?), Kirk's Drill Thrall) in the recent movie "Repo Man?" I wasn't quite sure at first, but I spotted her name in the credits later. Also, a question: Suppose you are a Mark Lenard or a Janus Prohaska fan (for example). Assuming that these actors don't suffer from proliferation of fan mail so that their addresses are not popularly known, how does one send fan mail to them if one wanted to? -- Mark Adolph ssc-vax!adolph@uw-beaver

*** YOUR MESSAGE *** I just saw "Oh, God!" last night on HBO (funnier than I thought it would be), and noticed that one of the clergymen on a committee that was trying to establish whether John Denver had in fact seen George Burns (God) was the mayor of the Cloud City who was having Zenite and Troglyte problems. Also, for those crossover readers from net.movies.musicals.patriotic, the regional manager of Food World, where John Denver worked, was also John Adams in the movie version of "1776." -- Mark A. ...uw-beaver!ssc-vax!adolph

Funny thing about the "Mayor" of cloud city in The Cloud Minders. I just watch Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, and found myself staring at one of the characters, and thinking "I know that guy". It was the scene where Butch and Kid are being pursued (the "who are those guys" chase) and they have stopped in at the home of their old friend Willy. Willy tells them that their time is passed, and not to involve him in their problems. Willy was played by the same actor as the "Mayor" of cloud city. Was he the mayor? I don't recall his policical position, other than "Tormentor of Troglytes". -- <><><><><><><>><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><>><><><><><><><><><> Paul Summers Watkins Johnson, Co. 2525 N.
