I for one would like to see a movie with Sulu as the Captain of a ship. Perhaps, that communist could be first officer. Of course, I would hope for a cameo from Kirk and Spock. Also, it would be VERY nice is savvik was science officer. I think this would be a good way to continue the series. From reading the books, I think Sulu would NOW make an excellent Ships Captain, though not as good Kirk or Spock. Dan @ pur-ee!dwm

I think that both Sulu and Uhura could be made Captains of
their own vessels to continue the story and to make more
interesting and different storylines. More in depth characterization
of the other original characters should be brought to the
screen, not just the same old stuff!
