[net.startrek] on-location

Star Trek did shoot on location, but instead of going to a different planet
they brought part of that planet to earth?!? I.e., the TRW buildings were used
as a Denevan city in OA. What is confusing is that those buildings, I think,
are also refered to as Valley State College? The "Long Lake" seen in PSy, I
believe, is in Griffith Park. This lake can be seen in many many movies and
shows like "Andy Griffith", "The Waltons", "Dukes of Hazard", "Six Million
Dollar Man", "MASH", etc. The "Angled Mountian" and area is seen in FC,AF,SL,
Ar. It is famous in many westerns and desert movies. If you want you can
include the out-door sets. The "City Street" seen in PA,RA,CEF and "The
Fortification" in Ar,EM. This is all I can think of now, my brain is having too
many memory faults.
