I was *amazed* when I watched part of ST II on TV Sunday night!
If I had known what they were going to do I would have watched *whole*
thing. They re-inserted several out-takes left out of the theatre
version, and I missed the most important one! They actually put in
the scene in which Scotty identifies a certain cadet as "my sister's
boy"!! I know this because an acquaintance of mine *did* watch the
whole thing and reported it to me. But even in the section I saw I
noticed a few short scenes that I can't seem to remember. Fantastic!
I hope a video release of this expanded version is or becomes available.
