"He's my sister's boy..." > That scene definitely WAS in the movie. >> No it wasn't! >>> Yes it WAS! >>>> NO IT WASN'T!!! Well, maybe. Just for a data point, we can probably all agree, "It wasn't in the version on HBO." And, personally, I didn't see it when I saw it opening day in the theater. However, the studios DO distribute more than one version of a movie, and it may be likely that some of you did see a version with this scene intact. For instance, "Patton" starts out with George C. in front of a large American flag, facing front and saluting, while a bugle plays, "To the Colors". However, the FIRST time I saw it, he didn't salute... he irritatedly waved his hand after the first few notes of the bugle call, and the bugle cut off. He then went into his "There's one thing, etc." speech. So calm down, gang, you may have just seen different legitimate releases of the film. Now for a second topic, start discussing what scenes in ST-TSFS weren't in the versions other people saw. :-) Ron Wanttaja (ssc-vax!wanttaja) "Bright and full, the moon arose, over streets and roofs unstained, but when the moon had set again, no street nor roof remained..."
