A while ago someone requested nominations for good fighting scenes in
which Kirk participated. Last night I watched an episode that I had
forgotten about which had an excellent fight scene. The saga was entitled
"Shore Leave." In it, Kirk faces his old nemesis from the Academy who
appears as he did then, many years younger than the present-day Kirk.
The Captain has to chase this guy all over the place before they finally
square off. Both take a licking but Kirk manages to keep ticking! He has
to resort to combination punches, two-handed kidney jabs, flying tackles
and some wrestling to subdue his ole pal. His uniform gets shredded and
bloodied. They both look like they lost to a pack of junkyard dogs!
Strange that none of you suggested this one, or did I miss it.
