After all, isn't it always the young noname crewman on the landing > party who is always the first to be blasted, shot, vaporized, absorbed, > disrupted, or turned into little white cubes? > -- > Name: John Ruschmeyer Yes I agree. I think it is about time someone set up a society or some such charitable organization for all those young widows, grieving girlfriends and moping mothers who have lost their sons, lovers, husbands etc. when Kirk decides to beam down on some unknown planet. They could call it loyal order of the daughters of the Enterprise or some other such silly name. But please, stop this inhumane treatment of young ensigns and security men. I can see them even now. Their eyes are wet and moist, just like those baby seals. But, if you look at them closely, they have the majustic grace of the whale(slow to react). OH I CAN'T EVEN BEAR TO THINK ABOUT IT!!!!!! If you too can't stand by and see this abonimable cruelty go on, I hope you to will boycott the landing scenes whenever Kirk et. all beam down. Maybe only then will those t.v. station operators understand that this senseless cruelty will have to stop. Not as sincerely as usually yours, DAVE BROWN
