<munch, munch> Is the law not to visit Talos IV general order number 4 or 7 ? I thought it was 4 but could be confusing it with the planet name. The reason why I ask is because I just saw "The Menagerie" and I thought the Commodore when showing to Kirk the file on Talos IV referred to the order number as number 7. Antone out there know for sure ? Or does anyone have the video ? -- ==> Ephrayim J. I heard it referred to as "General Order 7" in "Menagerie" just two days
ago, with the added comment that it was the only death penalty left on the
books. I recall that Sulu referred to "General Order 4" in "Turnabout",
didn't specify what that order was, but called it the only death penalty
on the books. Either Talos IV isn't such a bad place anymore (now that
Chris pike is there), but something else much worse has come along in the
meantime, or they screwed up.

I seem to recall [head scratch from years back] that the order was number 7, but someone misquoted it in "Turnabout Intruder", no doubt flustered by the court martial in that particular episode. I used to know all that stuff... -- MDG ARPA: trwatf!maverick@SEISMO [TRW Advanced Technology Facility] UUCP: ...!{decvax,ihnp4,allegra}!seismo!trwatf!maverick ...ucbvax!trwrb!trwatf!maverick
