I was watching the episode where some reptilian beings try to trap
Kirk and Co and, on failing to do that ( of course ) Kirk tries to
run them down. However some all powerfull aliens don't like all this
violence. They stop both ships and place Kirk and the other captain
on a mineral ladened asteriod to do battle until death.
With me so far? ( I missed the begining so don't know the title )
( no this is not an entry for Kirk's best fight - tho' it wasn't bad )
Anyway, during the course of this mayhem, the reptile manages to trap
Kirk with some vines and boulders. Kirk is lying on the ground helpless
with the alien looming over him about to stick a sharp pointy thing
into him when.......
COMMERCIAL TIME
Anyway, after the commercial, Kirk is running away! What's the story
here? Did the local ( or some other unnamed ) station cut this
piece or did the makers pull the oldest "escape" trick in the book?
I *would* like to know how he did it please.
