In previous postings about ships named Enterprise, the WWII carrier is mentioned and so is the present-day carrier. Well, I heard from a reliable source that the present-day carrier is just the WWII carrier refitted. Could this be where the idea to refit the starship came from? I am sorry. The Enterprise is not the WW2 ship refitted, check your source for accuracy. Hedley.
