publication.
ST episodes are now running in India.
From Paramount's in-house newsletter:
Star Trek III video sales resulted in orders for over 400,000 units
for day one. The release of the series episodes also sent sales
soaring beyond original expectations and ten more episodes will be
released by the end of April ahead of the originally scheduled
release pattern.. An ambitious sales goal of 15,000 units per title
was predicted...but home video buyers deluged the market with a buy
up of over 30,000 units per title. In two months, sales from the 10
TV epidodes and the three movies have reaped unit sales in excess of
900,000 cassettes and generated a retail value of over 20 million
dollars.
