You may remember, several months ago, someone mentioning that somebody
(Nimoy, Takei, or someone involved with the films) mentioned a "BIG" star (I
assume not Godzilla) was interested in doing a Trek picture, but that the
preliminary plot for ST IV was such that no part "worthy" of the mystery
personage could be found.
Well, an article in net.sf-lovers mentioned that the personage (according to
Nimoy) who had shown interest was -- Eddie Murphy. It all sounded to be in
the same sense of "deal" that all Southern California suffers from.
Brother. I mean, if we need interstellar con-men, why not just get Roger
Carmel?

Billy Idol once said ( a few months ago in an interview with the Chicago Tribune) that the only thing that could divert him from music is to be offered a roll in a Star Trek movie...he'd give up anything for that. Joanna

He'd be a hilarious as he i in his videos. Sneer and everything. -- "Ears without a face..." Peter Merchant
