[net.startrek] prophecy in "Return to Tomorrow" -- Discontinuity

alb@alice.UUCP (Adam L. Buchsbaum) (07/19/85)

There was one major continuity problem in this episode. When
Captian Christopher says he always wanted to go into space but
was rejected, Kirk replies, ''Take a good look, Captain; you
made it here ahead of all of them.'' This is blatently untrue.
By that time, the Mercury and Gemini programs were completed,
and Apollo was in its testing phase.

That episode is "Tomorrow is Yesterday."
