< The postman hits! --More-- > < You have new mail. > Did she *really* die in "Shore Leave"? Every time I've seen that scene (when the Zero makes its strafing run), they run, she stumbles, then continues running -- and it looks like the bullets miss them. Then the camera angle changes to show Rodriguez looking back at the plane, and her. . . running into a tree! Although this sounds silly, he goes to her side (exclaiming, "Angela!"), briefly examines her, and after we see no sign of bullet wounds, he turns his attention back to the plane. Pretty heartless if she's really dead. Anyone care to confirm this? I don't have my Concordance handy to check whether or not Bjo Trimble believes Angie died. Offhand, I always found it amazing how, after Angela Martine showed up first in "Balance of Terror" (my FAVORITE episode!) getting married, she *quickly* got over the death of her fiancee: "Shore Leave" was also a first season show, but her name became "Martine-Teller", and she also has what seems to be a new boyfriend!
