  1) How many episodes can you name in which Spock smiles?

	My answers:

	1.	"Where No Man Has Gone Before" when he says to Kirk
'I will have you checkmated on your next move'

	2.	"Amok Time" when he sees Kirk alive and well

	3.	"All our Yesterdays" when he falls for Marriet Hartley

	4.	"The Menagerie" when he and Captain Pike grab hold of
		the humming plants

	5.	"Return to Tommorrow" when his body is possessed by Hanuk.

	6.	"Plato's Stepchildren" when he and Kirk are being tortured by
		Parmen.

	7.	"Enemy Within" at the end of the show he says to Yeoman Rand
'The imposter had some fine qualities of his own, wouldn't
you agree?' and as she stomps off feeling insulted he smiles
at her. (This one could be just a smirk though.)

  2) How many episodes can you name in which the transporter is
NOT used (implied or otherwise) ?

	I can think of three:

	1.	"Immunity Syndrome"

	2.	"Journey to Babel"

	3.	"Metamorphesis"

Interesting that all these episodes use the shuttle craft.

  3) How many episodes can you name in which a double was used
for Captain Kirk? (NOT a stunt double.) For example, there
are some episodes in which there are two Kirks on the screen
at the same time. Beware! Be sure your double is not just
a video special effect. [Most people can name two episodes
fairly fast, but is that all?]

In "Enemy Within" there are scenes where Kirk is fighting
himself and that would require a double for the close contact
during the struggle. But then would that be regarded as a
stunt double? I can't think of any others.

Do send more of these trivia questions.

I don't think so. At the end of the episode, Scotty and
a landing party beam down to find Kirk & friends.

That was definitely a smirk, not a smile. :-) But you have omitted
"This Side of Paradise" when under the influence of the spores and Jill
Ireland, and "Is There In Truth No Beauty?" when melded with the
Medusan ambassador.
