An update on the 1985 BASH, science-fiction media convention. An earlier posting stated that Robert Englund and Jonathon Banks would be guests at the convention. For various reasons these two will no longer be there. The BASH will take place on November 2nd and 3rd at the Ramada Inn in East Boston past Logan Airport (not to be confused with the Hilton which is right at the Airport itself.) Star Trek's Grace Lee Whitney will be the convention's main guest. Other guests: Hal Clement (author of "Mission of Gravity" and "Nitrogen Fix"), Shirley Maiewski, Bob Ryan, Marty Grimes and T.J. Glenn. The weekend long programming consists of lectures, workshops, art show, dealers room, videos and live entertainment on Saturday night. Registration fee is $10.00 per day.
