I tried to mail this to "dwyer" but for some reason, my machine would not,
so I decided to post it.
The Romulans became allies of the Klingons. The Romulans are genetically
related to the Vulcans. If you remember ST TV series, in Balance of Terror,
Spock made reference to Romulans being related to Vulcans.
