Well, I see what you mean, since she is described as the commander of Desus' sister Clea at one point, and Clea's ship is subsequently destroyed. But I think anyone who wanted to could presume there was a transfer of Romulan personnel between events and they were no longer on the same ship. The other evidence is that Spock must "hide his inner conflict" on hearing this news from Desus, but this is chronic in their relationship. Not that it matters. Susan
