Has anyone picked up a copy of "City on the Edge of Forever" If you'll notice the box in which the tape comes, you'll discover two differences between it and the packaging for each of the other episodes; namely, instead of "The Original and Uncut Television Series" the COTEOF box says only "The Original Television Series"; also, there is a special asterisked message at the bottom of the face of the box, stating "Special home video version". On the back, there is a note which states simply "Some music has been changed for the home video version of this title." I have only watched the tape once, and listened very carefully for this change, but I couldn't catch it. The only place I thought I detected a difference was the scene at the furnace where Kirk and Spock were discussing with Edith Keeler where they "belonged;" seemed there was music there that wasn't there previously, but I'm not sure. If anyone has detected where the different music is, and/or knows why it was changed in the first place (my guess is copyright problems, or perhaps trouble with the print from which the tapes were made). Also, has anyone heard ANYTHING on the status of Star Trek 4? Seems the rumor mill has gone bone dry; has filming started? Is the summer release still on, or did Christmas '86 end up the date? Are there any folks out there who have heard what I did about Kirstie Alley; taht is, she might still, accidentally, end up in ST 4? WHERE HAVE ALL THE RUMORS GONE???
