Ah, yes, Court Martial. Isn't that the episode in which everyone makes a big fuss over the fact that Kirk may have prematurely jettisons his ship's pod? I was watching "Court Martial" last night and discovered just how technical Jim Kirk can be. When using the Enterprise to amplify the heartbeats of the people on the ship, Jim boy noted that this rigging "will increase the volume of the heart beats by 1 to the 4th power."
