I was watching the episode of Arena yesterday and there was a part that bothered me. When Kirk is in combat with the Gorn(sp), he drops a rock on him from a small cliff. He thinks he has killed him but to Kirks suprise, the Gorn is still alive. Kirk runs off and falls into the Gorns trap. A rock lands on top of Kirks leg and he is rendered helpless. The Gorn catches up and moves toward Kirk holding some sort of primitive weapon in his hand. The Gorn bends over to stab Kirk with the weapon, but moves the rock off of Kirk's leg. Kirk rolls over and gets away. -My question is, Why in Gods name did the Gorn move the rock off of Kirk's leg? I was wondering if someone has a rational explanation for this

If I remeber correctly, Kirk was lying on his left side while the rock trapped his right leg against a boulder. The Gorn approached the toward Kirk's feet, therefore he could not stab him since the rock was Lines: 12 ------- McCoy: Shouldn't you be working on your time warp calculations !!
