! I tried to mail this letter to you Werner, but the address was too long,
! so I am posting it.

The "sequel" to Shore Leave was an animated version of Star Trek.
The machine did not go berserk, it decided that it did  not  want
to "serve" the races that visited the planet. The computer wanted
to join other "machines" in ruling the galaxy. It also mistakenly
thought that the humans served the "sky" machine.  Kirk and  gang
finally convinced the computer to think the "proper" way  through
"logical" examples.  You would need to see the cartoon to get the
full story.  ST animated shows are  being  aired  on  Nickelodeon
TV channed on Saturday and Sunday mornings.
