I tried to mail this letter to you Werner, but the address was too long, ! so I am posting it. The "sequel" to Shore Leave was an animated version of Star Trek. The machine did not go berserk, it decided that it did not want to "serve" the races that visited the planet. The computer wanted to join other "machines" in ruling the galaxy. It also mistakenly thought that the humans served the "sky" machine. Kirk and gang finally convinced the computer to think the "proper" way through "logical" examples. You would need to see the cartoon to get the full story. ST animated shows are being aired on Nickelodeon TV channed on Saturday and Sunday mornings. "Live Long and Prosper!" Michael N.
