[net.startrek] script inconsistencies

Two script inconsistencies have been driving me nuts for years.

In Assignment Earth, Spock says that Capt. Cristopher makes "no relevant"
contribution to history. Later, when we find out about his son, Spock
appologizes for a poor choice of words in using "no relative " contribution.
A joke is made of this since it is his son who makes the contribution.
Or did WPIX edit something?

Also, in Bread and Circuses, when Kirk is being taken to be killed,
the proconsul tells Kirk that they have reserved a prime-time spot
on TV for him. Kirk looks confused and the proconsul says "oh, you're
years beyond anything as primative as television." And Kirk says:
"I'd heard it was similar." This makes no sence at all. I remember this
from the original run so WPIX is not to blame. Any thoughts?
