Rainbows I watched the rainbow in my mind its colors arching across the sky giving their colors to the flowers Color flowing into the rivers of my mind The landscape is filled with color, Swirlling, shifting color mixing together, spreading apart. I watch and wonder at my mind. This day the sun comes up Pink, red, orange all blend to form a beautiful new day. I love to watch the sun rise. To live, run or walk, these I do with my love, He who is a part of me We watch together this day. We show each other the sky Blues fading in and out The grass rippling greens. The wheat, golden and ripe. And the rainbow above all watching with its colors Brightening the day again With love it smiles down. 2/7/83 M.J.Hauck
