rael@inuxe.UUCP (06/20/83)

(The Hawked Piper:)

	I know you're gone forever
I know you're death has come
And the moments, oh so few, we've spent together
Their memories will have to light my life

	I knew I shouldn't have loved you
	And I know I shouldn't cry
But to think that when we were so close together
The battle had to take us apart

If I could only stop now
The sword that pierced your heart
Or my life just blow away into your being
I assure you that hesitate I would not

	And I would wait forever
If I knew you'd be back
But I don't know and I'm lonely and I miss you
And for you one tear I cry

(Narrator:)

And the tear he cried grew in brightness
And it flew him to the sun
There it blended with the fire and now
The Piper and the stars, they are one
	And there he waits forever
In that place beyond the sun
And he looks over our land with love and sadness
For Sylvia and the dreams he left behind

So if sorrow comes upon you
and you see a lonely star
You just wish upon it for the Piper
For he's looking and he loves you, oh so much

When lovers seem to hurt you
And your life is filled with Bad
Just remember that he fought your battle for you
Think of him, and you will understand.
