Where Went Wendy? I knew a Wendy once A wonderful, warm and witty Wendy With Wendy whom I whiled away an hour. My friend but not on Earth, Winds whisked her well behind my reach and grasp Why love within was not within my power. I knew and loved A Wendy woman with eyes which to die for, Weird wild and gentle Wendy of my dreams I loved a Wendy once With love so vast and overwhelming-- Where did Wendy go she once was here it seems I wonder whether I Dreamt it all the while the love that once I knew Which wends its way back the worse to haunt me I often wonder why I let me watch and wait and struggle through Now I wish away the pain that knows she doesn't want me.
