One of the formal styles of Chinese poetry consists of four lines. The first introduces a topic, the second elaborates on it, the third introduces a new topic, and the fourth ties the two topics together. Safe in the Suburbs Some people are frightened of old Greenwich Village, where faggots and artists and Bolsheviks pillage.
