			WINTER II

	A cold winter's eve
	This is no time to grieve;
	This was fun, nothing more,
	Let it go.

	Let there be no tears
	We weren't shooting for years
So lets walk one last time
	Through the snow.

Don't let anyone say that you and I
Should never have gotten this close.
And although it's over now, please do not cry
It still lasted longer than most.

	When we met last year
	It was perfectly clear
	We didn't intend
	It to last

	On an evening like this
	We shared our first kiss
	So let us tonight
	Share our last.

Bath of Stars

He steps from a crucible held by an angel
the angel is poised to hurl a stone

towards him (the boy)

All is encompassed in the night
when 12 stars shine...

Winter Wheel

A fence leans in the driving snow
upon a wheel a cockerel crows the crimson dawn

Like giant spokes the barren fields contain
the pitiless winter in their icy arms

Black winters wheel, whose rim is in heaven
& whose hub is where each stands alone
