[moo moo the cow]

i'm moo moo the cow
i eat lots of hay
i sit on the tracks
for most of the day
my milk is so good
it doesn't take long
for all little children
to grow big and strong

	- author unknown (or won't admit it)

i don't know why i like cow poems so much. if anyone knows any good
ones (besides hey diddle diddle . . .) please relay . . .

moo.

I never saw a purple cow
I hope I never see one
But from the milk we're drinking now
I'm sure that there must be one.

< Having seen two of the three Nash/Purple-cow poems, here's the series >

I've never seen a purple cow
I never hope to see one
But I can tell you anyhow
I'd rather see than be one

I've never seen a purple cow
I never hope to see one
But from the milk we're getting now
	There certainly must be one

Ahhh yes, I wrote the purple cow
I'm sorry now I wrote it
But I can tell you anyhow
I'll kill you if you quote it
