since you went away -------------------- since you went away only the silence only the silence forms and breaks and the melting snow drips into frozen pools of bright-eyed dreams the sun shines in great streaks of black birthing shadows in the death of the light as bubbles of despair rise and break into the stench of rotting roses that once swayed rapturously to your song deep inside the witches cackle over their numbing brew called death the wall of green cracks in many places oozing sticky half-formed dreamstuff leaving only slashes of red pain burning holes through collapsing spasmodically twisting corridors of my mind ------ unni@ucla-locus.arpa
