The Doors of Life 10/9/84 and 11/9/84 Is life like a door? To open it we don't know what we'll find To close it we have lost what is behind But what would life be without doors? No windows to look through and see. Open onto-onto new and different experiences Close behind what we were, are, will be. How strange, to find the doors surrounding us We make our choices blind, but we must chose A cliche says, the Lady or the Tiger One can chose to walk the corridor, ignore the doors But what life is that? Taking no chances I want to live life full, opening every door Run in to the next and next room. In to the jaws of living and dying Mary Hauck on a rainy Friday
