I take a walk and smell the air, And think that life would be so grand, If I could see a hundred beaches, And dig my toes into their sands. Lay awake beneath the stars, And see them smiling on their sea, With a warm wind as my blanket, And the moon to comfort me. I fall asleep, and dream of flowers Like a bed beneath my feet, And I lay in their soft pettles Dressed in apricot and peach. To some this finest dream, you'd think Would be more than enough. And still I know, it can't compare With the comfort of our love. - Karen Bain 1/85
