on moving from Ottawa to a very different neighbourhood in Toronto ...
I think the Autumn trees are what I miss the most,
defying the creeping cold with colours
to shame the pale sun:
yellow-gold, flame-orange,
wine-red and purple!
and the dark green shimmering silver in the wind.
