[net.poems] Responses to "No Choice"

shers@oz.Berkeley.EDU (Alex Sherstinsky) (06/25/86)

Dear Mr. Bing:

I was pleased to see a reply to my poem "No Choice" coming from the net.

Yet, with all due respect for the reader and a genuine interest in
criticism, I found your remarks, such as "[a line] deleted for the sake
of sanity" and "is this guy for real", not constructive at all.

I almost resent the way you dispose of the work that took me two weeks of
composing and many years of observation. I would rather appreciate a reply
containing an earnest discussion of content with helpful suggestions for the
improvement of style.

Sincerely,

Alex Sherstinsky

P. S.:	I posted this reply to the net because the mail kept bouncing back
when I tried to use the mail's "R" command. Any flames caused by the
presence of this article on the net are not intentional.
