	Someone came close to me
In the early hours of the day
When the sun was flashing its first rays
And the world was filled with the morning dew.

	She brought with her happiness
	She brought with her joy
And peace and serenity in abundance
That were to be mine for the rest of the day.

	Time passed so quickly
	With her by my side
	I hardly realized it
And soon the day turned into twilight
The sun was casting its last rays over the earth
And the birds were returning back to their nests.

I turned to look at my friend
	But suddenly she was gone
	I searched desperately for her
But it was all in vain.
The sun had set for the day
And so had she for me, forever ...
	Leaving behind fond memories
Of a brief but indelible encounter.
