Sager-Wilson travel agency of Madison WI is getting involved in group travel. I have taken on the job of assisting S-W in setting up a group SCUBA trip. Current reservations indicate that we will be travelling to Grand Cayman for a week of diving April 1 - April 8, 1984. We will be staying at the Sunset House (1 mi from Georgetown) and diving with the operation based at the Sunset House. The trip will be in the range of $900 - $1000. This includes round trip air from Madison, Milwaukee, or Chicago. Also included is 6 days of diving (2 tank boat dives) also unlimited beach dives, double occupancy for 7 nights at the Sunset House, plus at least one meal. We will also be setting up some night dives during the week. Anyone who is interested or would like more information please get in touch with me. Also as a side consideration I would like some feedback from those travelling divers out in Netland. There is still a possibility that we may (in the next week or so) change our destination given what we hear from the interested parties. I would like to know what dive destinations you would be interested in. Some considerations are price, alternative entertainment, and of course formost the quality of diving. We are also seriously looking at some of the Bahamas out-island resorts (Stella Maris, San Salvador, Small Hope Bay etc.) These destinations would be cheeper but local entertainment is limited to that provided by the Resorts. Of course there are many considerations for instance Cozumel is still a great bargain (I was there in January), the problem there however is alot of people are travelling there. Other destinations are more expensive flying. Please send me mail if you have any suggestions or are interested in Caymans. Note group tours have spectacular price reductions and is a great way to spend a vacation. Also a group can more easily dictate the diving at the various resorts. Thanks for the feeback in advance.
