[] In Monday's Newsday (Local Long Island Paper), there was this article about sunken treasure. Key West, Fla (UPI) -- Ecstatic divers yesterday began the two year task of hauling up an estimated $400 million in treasure left stacked ``as far as the eye can see'' by the wreck of a Spanish galleon more than 300 years ago. The head of the salvage operation goes on to say that he was happy about the finding. I didn't get into scuba diving to find gold, but it's nice to hear about it. It wouldn't be fair not to tell the whole story, so for the sake of being complete I'll mention that there were some problems. The search took sixteen years, but after four years one of his 85 foot ships sank taking the lives of three people including his son and daughter-in-law. mark -- Mark Smith NYIT Computer Graphics Lab P.O.
