Well, it looks like the existance of this group is threatened.. Perhaps
we should use it more or lose it..
This last sunday I dove 'the pinnacles' in Monterey (actually, Carmel)
with a group called "Ultimate Scuba" out of Pacific Grove. The fee was
$50.00 for which we got transportion to and from the boat (a 55 footer)
and a hearty lunch + snacks. The people running this group were all
divers and thus were personally concerned that everyone had a good dive
and were looked after. The diving was excellent. 40+ ft visibility
at 70 feet. Some beautiful rock formations and kelp forests. The pinnacles
are definately the best diving I've ever done in Monterey.
I heartily recommend this group and that dive. No, I have nothing to
do with "Ultimate Scuba". Just found out about them last week. They
don't seem to have much trouble filling the boat (restricted to 22 people).

P.S. Clint Eastwood's house is the PINK one next on the west beach.
Yick. We're dissappointed in you Clint..
