[net.rec.scuba] Florida Keys

I am planning a dive vacation to the Florida Keys in late April
or the beginning of May and would like information about diving
there.

Is the diving better in the upper, middle or lower keys?

Good hotels that cater to divers.

I have heard that Lady Cyana divers offers excellent deep water
dives, is this true?

Is John Pennecamp State Park worth a visit? If so, why?

Good Restaurants in the keys area.

I can't offer much in the way of comparisons of the diving between keys,
but I have been diving at Pennekamp. It was my first Florida dive (maybe
I'm biased) but I thought it a great place. There is much to see, and where
we were, there were lots of caves and sealife that hosted a VERY wide
assortment of fish and shellfish. The sea urchins were something else! I
thought it was a great place to dive. You probably will too.
