#N:uiucdcsb:13700003:000:732 uiucdcsb!faiman Aug 28 09:33:00 1984 I'm looking for comments from people who have experience with a 68k system from a company called Integrated Solutions in San Jose. They have two basic hardware configurations: a 12MHz 68000 with Unix System III and a 10MHz 68010 with 4.2 BSD. These are on LSI-11-style quad boards with an additional local memory bus which, they claim, allows them to run 4Mbytes with no wait states. Performance is said to be comparable to that of a 750. For a list price of about $30k one gets either configuration, 3.25 MB RAM, 140 MB disk, streamer tape, 18 serial ports and an Ethernet interface. The technical literature supplied by the company is detailed and quite impressive. Am I missing something? Mike Faiman (faiman @ uiucdcs)
