[net.micro.68k] Lisp for the 68000

don@umcp-cs.UUCP (Don Hopkins) (10/10/84)

I am in need of a lisp compiler and/or interpreter for the 68000. What products
are there on the market? Could anyone who knows of one please send me the name
of the distributer, the price, and any other pertinant information?
	-Don

The current version of Franz lisp which runs under Berkely 4.2 on the
Vax can be also be configured to run on a SUN workstation running
either BSD 4.1c or 4.2beta or Unisoft. For more information, contact
either Franz Inc or Franz-Composers@berkeley.

Utah's Portable Standard Lisp is currently running on three 68K systems,
including the Apollo, HP 9836 (aka "Series 200") and the Sun (well, the
Sun port isn't quite finished, but it's pretty close).

Greetings,
Franz Lisp also runs on the MASSCOMP machines, both workstations
and the Real-Time MC500. For availability contact Franz, Inc. or your
local MASSCOMP Sales office, or me. BTW, while there are still some
licensing/legal issues to be worked out, MACSYMA is also ported and
running. If I can be of any help please call.

I hate to be a nag, but the HP9836 is NOT 'aka series 200'! The
9836 can hook into a series 200 station, but it is a workstation (either
Basic or Pascal) with graphics and all the other nifty stuff. (I'm using
one for this note, hooked into a series 200 system)

	Cheery and all,

Boy did I blow it! A bit of a scoping problem: the series
200 is a generic term for a whole slew of HP products...the 9836
being one of them.

So sorry to all that I confused (myself included).
