For Sale Sage II Computer System (The company is now called Stride Micro) Based on 68000. Includes: - Two Floppy Drives (800K per) for total of 1600K. - 512K Ram - Ramdisk (about 370K depending upon configuation) - p-system - Word Processing Software (bundled) - Kermit - IEEE-488 interface - Centronics Printer Port - Real Time Clock - 2 RS232 Ports - Multiuser (2) The above items come bundled with the computer. Also included - ASE screen oriented editor This is a nice editor which allows multiple file editing, user written macros and programmable keys. - Program Development System Includes pascal compiler and a bunch of util"}ies for code generation; a native code generator, utlilities that allow hooks into the OS ,etc. Also available: QVT-211GX graphics terminal This terminal has a neat graphics mode that allows graphics and text to be mixed on the screen. Emulates 4010, 4014, Tektronics scopes. Resolution is 644 x 288 pixels that are programmable as pixels or that can be accessed using vector, box and circle primitives for ease of use. The terminal normally functions as a QVT-102 terminal or emulates one of four popular terminals. OKIDATA 92 Printer I used this system to make life a little nicer while I was fighting my way through as an undergraduate. It is great for program development (ramdisk makes this a fast machine and the compiles are quick). I wrote several programs for numerical analysis and the machine did quite well. All in all it is nice computer for general use and development. It would be good for 68000 development since this also includes a 68000 assembler. The system would also work well in a small business because it can handle multiple users. There is alot of commercial software available for the p-system. Also, the users group is quite active and has many programs in the public domain. Idiris, CPM-68k, Cambridge Lisp and many other OS's are also available. I don't use the system as much as I used to, so I am offering it for sale. All items are approximately 1 year old. I would prefer to sell the system in one chunk, although offers for single pieces would be considered.
