[net.micro.68k] OS9 WARS - Please Stop

uhclem@trsvax (11/20/85)

<Captain, we're losing data lines and I don't know why!>

Will you guys SHUT UP? There has been more traffic received at
this site on the subject of moving the OS9 talk somewhere else
than there has been on the subject of OS9. Enough is enough.

I know these occasional notes on OS9 do tend to disturb the normal
Intel vs Nice-Processor wars, but that is getting old too. (Surely
we have proved our point(s) by now.)
Since OS9 can run on the 68K and apparently does, leave them alone.
This seems to be a reasonable spot to talk about 68k implementations.

I consider myself netural on this point since I have not ever used
OS9, but do not mind hearing things about it.

<This is my opinion and not that of my Golden Retriever; He found my
Intel 286 literature and chewed it up and liked it. Guess he doesn't
have any taste. My employer usually has a differing opinion.>

Actually, I'd do almost anything to get the OS9 stuff off this
newsgroup. That includes voting for net.os.9 (consider my vote
cast). That stuff really does not belong here ... the volume
of interesting information in this group has declined since the OS-9
discussions started.

(Usual disclaimer about being biased as all heck, but that's life.)
