[net.micro.68k] DMA SCSI/SASI port

Does anyone out there have a design or a pointer to an application note
for a DMA SCSI interface? I am thinking of using a MC68440 Dual DMA
controller to implement one in a 68000 system for a radio system
communications interface and controller, but other dma chips or methods
would be of interest too.

Or is DMA worth doing? I've always used interrupt-synchronized
processor byte i/o for SASI interfaces, but this application will have
LOTS of block i/o going on constantly on the SASI bus, so it might be
worth it.

First cut on the design uses a 68010 at 8 MHz, 68440 DDMA, 68230, 8530,
some miscellaneous i/o, 128K of PROM, and 1/2 to 1 meg of DRAM. In
other words, sort of a vanilla controller.
