I am teaching a course in machine organization and assembly langauge programming this summer, with the programming assignments being written on the Macintosh (68000 processor). I want to impose some coding standards (format, comment density and location, standard translation from pseudo-code to assembly code, etc.) so that the students learn good habits. I've got a coding standard I use myself, but before I foist it on lots of students, I'd like to find out if there are other coding standards. In particular, do any of you experienced 68000 programmers know of good coding standards that are in wide use? Please reply to me by email, I will summarize. Many thanks in advance.
