From: LYNCH@SRI-KL.ARPA I see that Boeing is going to have a demonstration of interconnecting the 802.4 LAN protocls with the 802.3 LAN protocols in November at the Automotive factory automation show. How does one find out what MAP is? GM is making a big fuss (as did DoD) about being able to interconnect products they buy. It sure was nice of them to dream up a different set of protocols... Guess I'd better learn about them. So, the question is: where does one get the info? Thanks, Dan -------

From: dca-pgs@DDN1.ARPA I heard that Unisoft was working on the NBS Transport Protocol, to run under 4.2. I don't recall whether they were involved in last year's NCC demo or not. Last handle I have for Unisoft is <unisoft!unisoft@Berkeley>; also, they are located in Berkeley CA if anyone wants to call them. Anybody know if Wollongong is doing anything in this area?
