I'd like it to run on 4.2BSD UNIX (Pyramid 90x and Sun), Tops-20, VMS (Wollongon TCP software), and an IBM-PC running the MIT TCP/IP code; but an willing to transport code if need be. I'd also like to be able to use the character generator (infinite source) and character eater (infinite sink) services. I want to test our network (reachability) with this and also (if possible) get a measure of delays between various machines and through various routes and some kind of throughput figure.
