This way there is a way to keep things that are important to the newsgroup around. Examples include the recent description of Empire in net.games.emp and the recent Mark Horton Usenet map. Malcolm

Probably the best method that works now (as in maybe something better will done in the future) is to turn on the "director message" for the note(s) that you don't want archived. Then use the nfarchive "-m" option, which archives only messages with the director message turned off. There are problems with this method. If notes that you do want archived have the director message enabled, they will stay around forever. Hopefully there won't be too many of these. Ray Essick University of Illinois
